Orders and payments

Orders over £200.00 should be placed with a minimum notice period of 3 months. Short‑notice orders may be accepted at the business’s discretion dependant on the requirements.
For orders over £100.00 a 30% non‑refundable deposit is required and will only be confirmed upon receipt of the deposit.
Full payment is due 4 weeks (one month) before the event date. Orders that are not paid in full by the deadline may be cancelled.
For items under £100.00 payment must be made in full at the time of the booking to confirm the order.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, card or cash.

Deposits are non‑refundable under all circumstances.
Cancellations made 4 weeks (1 month) before the event may be eligible to pay up to 70% of the remaining balance.
If your event is cancelled less than 1 week before the event date the full amount will be secured by us and no refund will be issued. This is to cover our costs for making the cake/s, ordering stock and taking time out of our schedule that could have been secured for another order.
In the unlikely event that we would need to cancel, Cakes by Antoinette will assist in helping you find another reputable cake maker to honour your order.
If we are unable to do so, a full refund will be issued.

All products may contain or come into contact with common allergens including nuts, gluten, dairy and eggs.
We can provide Gluten and diary free, but our kitchen and equipment may have traces of them.
It is the customer’s responsibility to inform the business of any allergies at the time of ordering. we do not cater for severe allergies.
The business cannot guarantee a completely allergen‑free environment.

The customer must provide as much detail regarding their design and colour requirements.
While every effort is made to match designs, colours, and styles, slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of products.
Fresh flowers or toppers supplied by the customer must be safe for food use. The business is not responsible for any issues arising from customer‑supplied decorations.
Design and/or flavour changes must be requested at least 4 weeks before the collection/delivery date. PLEASE NOTE this may alter the final cost.
Some change requests may not be possible, especially if the request is less than 4 weeks before the event date.

Based in Bexley, delivery available in the South East and surrounding areas.
Delivery is available to selected areas and is charged per mile to and from the venue/destination.
If you are collecting your cake, it is strongly recommended that you secure the cake on a flat non-slip surface ideally in the boot or foot well of your car, making sure you drive carefully and steady at all times.
Once collected or delivered, the cake solely becomes the customer’s responsibility.
The business is not liable for damage caused after collection/delivery, including improper handling or storage.
Customers must be responsible for removing all non-edible items from the cake before cutting and consumption.

Cakes should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Refrigeration may be required for certain coverings; customers will be advised accordingly.
Cakes are best consumed within 1 week of collection/delivery.

The business reserves the right to photograph products and use images for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes.
Customer privacy is always respected; no personal information will be shared.

The business is not responsible for any indirect loss, damage, or injury resulting from the consumption or handling of products.
In the rare event of a complaint, the customer must contact the business within 24 hours of receiving the product, providing photos where relevant and returning the product as soon as possible.

By placing an order with Cakes by Antoinette, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
